Okay i seem to have found the place were lots of openwrt and freifunk
firmware are available
http://download.berlin.freifunk.net/ipkg/

from here i have downloaded the

http://download.berlin.freifunk.net/ipkg/_allnet/openwrt-allnet-freifunk-1.6.36-en.bin

and
http://download.berlin.freifunk.net/ipkg/_g+gl/openwrt-g-freifunk-1.6.36-en.bin

are one of these the ones i require
