Because you weren't around and I and David Raznick weren't sure
whether 1.3.4 was operational.

Erm the defect was branched off default because that is our standard
policy (I don't know at the point I do the work what the state is of
1.3.4 versus default etc). These weren't show-stoppers and branching
off default is standard (one would really only branch off release in
extremis).

No happy for it to go into 1.3.4 but think faffing around trying to
re-merge this all so it goes off 1.3.4 is likely wasted effort so
suggest either just taking 1.3.4.1 as is (and merging into 1.3.4 and
closing 1.3.4.1) or leaving it alone :-)
