[ckan-dev] I configured ckan with s3 amazon but not able to store files on s3 buckets

I have ckan version 2.3 & currently using local storage.
want to stored the resouces on s3 buckets.

Documents specify not support ckan 2.3 for cloud.

what is the reason cloud disabled for 2.3 version ?

is there any extensions, way, options that I can use cloud with ckan 2.3
