[ckan-dev] question for CKAN maintainers: estimate about PR 4618

Hi,

I work for the HDX project (https://data.humdata.org/ ), which is a CKAN
based project. We’re very interested in this open pull request:
https://github.com/ckan/ckan/pull/4618 . We have datasets where many small
files need to be uploaded and the “multiple file upload in a single call”
feature would clearly speed things up.

Could you give us a rough estimate about when this change will become part
of a stable CKAN release ?

It would help us plan and decide whether we can wait for this change or if
we need to implement another solution.
