Good news, I've managed to fix this so basic upload works with local
file storage. I've also updated the docs:

http://packages.python.org/ckanext-storage/

Note that you will need the latest (trunk) version of the CKAN code
from bitbucket repo (see install instructions where it mentions
bitbucket) and will need to install pairtree library. Please try this
out and let me know how it works.

It is still a little raw and there are things to sort out -- I've
started tracking issues and improvements in this ticket:

We do hold periodic sprints and it would be great to have your
participation (albeit remotely). Our next major sprint planned at the
moment is pre OKCon <http://okcon.org/> in Berlin 27th-29th of June.
