The general assumption is, of course, that this will go to conciliation
since the Council is very unlikely to accept all the EP amendments. As far
as I am aware the amendments have not yet been transmitted officially to the
Council. I would guess the formal Council decision would occur some time
during the autumn, to give sufficient time under the Finnish Presidency to
conclude the conciliation procedure.

The Council needs to decide if they accept the parliament version, or if
they want to go to conciliation.
