[MyData & Open Data] Summary of the Open Data & Privacy project

Hi all,

Thanks for the comments some of you made on a draft summary of the Open
Data & Privacy project which Sam shared. Unfortunately those of us
responsible for the project did not have edit rights to that particular
copy of the document and so could not resolve the issues that were  rightly
raised in a timely manner. However, this current version

 of the document has been edited and better reflects what the project is
about and what we have been working on over the last couple of months, and
it would be more useful to have your comments on this.

To reiterate Laura's point from this afternoon, this project is exploring
the issues around the opening up of data where there might be elements of
personal information. Some of you have been working for quite a while on
these privacy considerations and your thinking about what sorts of
activities should be undertaken to fill which gaps is far ahead of ours,
and so we welcome your input. These ideas could feed into this existing
project, but we are also happy to identify and discuss new ones together
next week during the workshop.

Looking forward to seeing some of you next week (or if not, during the WG
call the week after next!)
