 For those who may have missed it...David Wiley has written a blog post
redefining the 'open' in open content.

David argues against non-commericial licences and share alike licences. He
also references the ALMS Framework

the need to avoid poor technical choices (locking in to expensive or
difficult to use tools, not enabling content to be easily remixed). Much of
this ties in with the recent discussion had on this list around editor
