Interesting article, but see also the many interesting comments, which suggest a more nuanced view on hackathons etc than one might get from the headline.

I don't know what their org chart looks like, but I think they are definitely moving in the right direction and are very happy to receive input from the developer community. I can help broker this if anyone is interested.
