The Research Data Australia <http://researchdata.ands.org.au/> portal has
implemented theme-based collections precisely for that reason - to bring
together similar subject-based resources across the many, and diverse,
metadata/data providers who contribute to Research Data Australia. We have
started with nine themes, but plan to expand our offerings over time. See:
