Hi Mark,

Thanks. There is nothing in particular for co-ordination on OpenSpending at this stage. The main things are that:

* People know about OpenSpending in general
* People know we are doing a new version in order to fix all the things we’ve learnt after running OpenSpending for 4 years (and Where Does My Money Go before that)
* If anyone wants to join in, now is the time: contact me, or join the discuss.okfn.org forum

Thanks,

Paul

The recent history that led me to this position is that I spent some years recently working in the Queensland University of Technology library where I was technical lead for the university's open access research repository and online scholarly journal publishing. This introduced me to various openness movements: open access, open source, and to a lesser extent, open data. I recently moved states and joined Link Digital as the technical team lead.

The OK Labs want to find out about local tech stories and goings on and they want you to participate in their regular Labs hangouts <http://okfnlabs.org/events/hangouts/>. I'll keep an eye on this list for news but feel free to drop me a line at mark.gregson at linkdigital.com.au <mailto:mark.gregson at linkdigital.com.au> if there's anything you'd like me share with the Labs folk.
