[okfn-br] IACC Brasilia - Sessao Jovens e Corrupcao

Ola,

Eu trabalho na Transparencia Internacional e como voces sabem a IACC acontecera em Brasilia entre os dia 7 e 11 de Novembro. Anteriormente `a IACC, durante os dias 5 e 6 de Novembro, acontece o encontro anual da Transparencia Internacional (TI), um evento fechado que reune os mais de 100 capitulos da TI, alem dos membros do conselho. Durante esse dois dias, representantes da TI ao redor do mundo vao se reunir para compartilhar suas experiencias no combate a corrupcao. Uma das sessoes, que acontece no dia 5 de Novembro as 16:00 horas, tem como tema principal os jovens e o combate a corrupcao. Membros dos capitulos do Marrocos, Lithuania, e da Republica Dominicana vao apresentar seus projetos. Outros capitulos tambem estarao presentes, mas seria uma otima oportunidade se alguns de voces pudessem comparecer (2 ou 3 pessoas) para compartilhar suas ideias, desafios encontrados, sucessos, bem como para sugerir aos capitulos novas initiatiavas/ideias para mobilizar os jovens.

Hi Stefan

I will be there - me, Pedro and Priscilla are working with TI to organize the Hackathon.

Some great ideas there and I would love to help (although I might be there and around during the event). Specially on the FOI reminder platform. 

Also think there is space for us to organize a OKF meetup in Brasilia during IACC.

I had some ideas on what to hack on, but will also gladly team up with people.

Some Ideas (all FOI related, since I'm running the German FOI portal):

- FOI reminder platform that reminds people to regularly request certain kinds of information (e.g. all contracts from the last 3 months) on one of the FOI portals.
- A game engine for HTML5 adventure games (think text adventure, but with more colors and clicking, no typing). And of course a game on top that teaches you country-specific FOI through some scenarios
- Exploring possibilities for document management for FOI portals further (kind of a dry topic)

If anyone want to join, talk to me.

Also, apparently (this is not yet set in stone), after the Hackathon in Brasilia I will somehow get to and stay in Sao Paulo until the 14th.
I'd love to meet some people there and possibly find a couch to sleep on.
