hello there, Jonathan recommended I post to this list.
I wonder if anyone might be able to help in regard to a
art project I have been involved in for the past five years called
www.landscape-portrait.com - it's a digital public artwork that
creates and collates video portraits of people and their communities in
contrast to that provided by demographics.

The project has now amassed a archive of video material and I want to
think about the best way of moving this into the public realm. Its a bit of
an ask but I wonder if anyone has some time to point me in the right direction ?

The archive is made up of geospatial tagged video data. I am imagining
that I could publish the video to a server that supports URI's and publish
the metadata ? I am wondering if anyone has published video data in an
open data format etc, are there any examples that might be useful ?

The other thing is  a worry about is the exploitation or the content. If
the content is published under a fair use licence I wonder how this
impacts on the participants who took part in the work and made the video.
They all signed release statements but I wonder if there has been any
discussion of this within OKN,
