[okfn-discuss] Free Software tools for OKFN -- please contribute

That's nice, but why waste time doing duplicate work? The FSF's directory
needs help and we could assist in improving that. I don't want to
discourage anyone, but fragmentation is not our friend. We will do best by
focusing our energy all in the same place. So while the etherpad is fine, I
think it's nice to go to step 2 in our due diligence.

Due diligence:

1. Search for Free/Libre/Open resources before compromising on using
proprietary
2. Search for existing directories / writings / sites / projects that could
use our help before starting new ones
