[okfn-discuss] okfn-discuss Digest, Vol 116, Issue 4

Hello,

Interesting idea, but I'm not sure about its implementation and benefits.

If the definition of a "member" is "anyone who helps make Ubuntu a
success", the implications seem more nebulous when applied to the Open
Knowledge community.

Anyone who makes "things" more open is in line with OK's mission. And even
if there are specific projects one can contribute to, they are their own
thing: someone can easily contribute a lot to CKan or School of Data
without caring much about Open Knowledge as an organisation.

Best,

Cédric Lombion
