Hello,

This is a Call for written input to the second Global Parliamentary Report, which will focus on parliament’s power to hold government to account and parliamentary oversight.

All parliaments, organizations and individuals with an interest in parliamentary oversight are invited to share their views in writing by 30 November 2015. We hope that you will want to take this opportunity to help shape the content and direction of the report.

Submissions can focus on good practices relating to parliamentary oversight, but also challenges and proposals for how to improve parliamentary oversight and government accountability.

Submissions should be no more than 1500 words in length and can be written in English, French, Spanish or Arabic.

To make a submission, please see the detailed information about the Call for written input at www.ipu.org/gpr2

The Global Parliamentary Report is a joint initiative of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
