Hi Jonathan,

I hadn't seen the error that you are describing before, but it seems
to be a known issue. See
http://github.com/ether/pad/issues/labels/Bugs#issue/116. I doubt this
is a misconfiguration issue, mostly because our install is hardly
configured/customized at all ;-)

I think we should try to keep our copy of etherpad up to date, but
unless anyone feels willing to really dig into the Java/JavaScript
mess that Etherpad is made of, I don't know how to fix this issue for
now.
