Hi All,
Just to explain: Stefano and I worked on migrating blog.okfn.org over
the weekend as per ticket
<http://knowledgeforge.net/okfn/tasks/ticket/553>
After quite a lot of work we did the migration and all looked
reasonable (and repeating the migration is a pain) so we switched over
dns. Unfortunately, we didn't update the cache (which blog.okfn.org
would now run through -- it did not before) and hence this error.
More importantly looking at the imported content in more detail it is
a significant issues with wordpress export/import whereby all <...>
and > characters in source data are converted by wordpress to html
entities (like >) on import. As we use markdown heavily this is a
*big* problem since blockquotes and explicit url links get broken or
disappear (actual data loss!).
As a result I've had to revert back to the old blog while we endeavour
to sort this out ...
If anyone has experience or tips on how to fix this I'd be very
grateful to hear them ...
Rufus
