VIE enables you to make RDFa -annotated content on your web pages editable.
for projects i would consider using DOAP referring to mailing lists, irc-logs twitter accounts etc. for analyzing activity we could use SIOC exporters http://rdfs.org/sioc/applications/#creating-others
