[okfn-za] Open Data on CO2 Emissions

Hi Justin,

Thanks once again. I can only dream of a HH in Polokwane! If I'm subscribed
to the HH-JHB and HH-CT and 'odadi' will that keep me in the loop for the
events that you are referring to? I'm not that IT literate i.e. hackathons
and don't know how to scrape data, etc. The only chance I have to learn
about these literacies is to join the activities.

Being in Public Health I've been quite plugged into EIAs and know how the
RoDs were sometimes treated as a joke. The thing is just as you said, a
lack of awareness and to large extent apathy, even amongst the Public
Health folk. I will put it on my 'to do list' to get myself back on the
mailing list for EIAs.

Have a splendid night,

Jakes
