[okfn-za] Open Data on CO2 Emissions

Jakes,

There's no reason not to have a HH chapter in Polokwane. The guys at
Zoutnet Media are really keen on digital experimentation & data journalism.
I've copied two of them above. There are also loads of media in the city, &
I assume there should be an equal number of techies of various persuasions.

Limpopo is also really ripe territory for civic engagement projects that
use data & mobile. Just think about the reach & impact that an app that
allowed kids to report textbook shortages would have had in the province.

Happy hunting.

Cheers,
Justin
