Hi All

Livity Africa, a non-profit organisation based in Jhb which focuses on
social change through working with youth are looking for a technologist.
Below is the job spec. Please contact Zodwa (cc-ed) for more details.

*Taking advantage of technology and mobile technology to:*

   - Reach more young people in more remote provinces and areas
   - Tracking the journey of our online audience
   - Surveying our audience to track influence and behaviour change
   - Build our overall audience and consider the best technology-based
   solution to open up as yet unreached audiences (ie rural young people)
   - Help us scope, brief, commission and build our government/youth
   application

*Experience needed*

   - They will need experience in managing technology projects including
   web development and mobile technology (apps, ussd, sms alerts, geotagging).
   - Briefing/managing agencies and service providers.
   - Experience using technology to help make social change (ideal)
   - Someone who can help take our team on a journey of better
   understanding of how technology-driven solutions can become a core part of
   our business
   - Experience with data management including data quality control and
   analysis
   - Database experience and knowledge of SQL
   - Proven experience with Excel and other data analysis tools
   - Experience with survey design (preferred)
   - Programming/scripting experience (preferred)
   - Training experience (preferred)
   - Can work independently
   - Willing to travel
