Dropping in here to see if there's specifically working on Rufus' Timeliner
project at events during Open Data Day.  Understanding a history of events
leading to our current situation with Open Data (civic, scientific, and
otherwise) would be an excellent resource to point newcomers.

As you can imagine, my focus is on the educational value of this, but
getting some people hacking on Timeliner would be really cool! Ping me if
