[open-development] Access to development data - IATI initiative

Hello everybody
I am involved in access to and use of aid information in the context of the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) and I am wondering if the open knowledge foundation is somehow linked to IATI or should be linked to IATI. IATI is a donor led process currently working on standards about which information on development to publish, which formats to use and how to promote the use of data by civil society. Apart from that, there is AidData, a project by Development Gateway and two universities in the US to establish a database on development projects. I don't know how these different initatives could go together, but I am sure there is potential for collaboration.
Best wishes
Claudia Schwegmann
