That is the problem I propose we think together. Others from OKF discuss
and open development mailing lists are welcome to join. Tom

Dear colleagues from the OKF network,

I would like to propose that we continue to have these meetups. I think
there are a lot of learnings from mistakes and successes we are missing to
share with each other, which could empower our actions aligned with our
mission.

As a way to continue these meetings, I would like to invite those
interested to have a talk this Friday, March 14 at 2h pm GMT (11h GMT-3, my
time), mainly for those in the global south willing to form a chapter and
who can possibly have questions about the Brazil case. I'm still learning a
lot and there are big challenges here to form a sustainable organization.

I want submit a proposal to OKFest telling everything we did here in Brazil
(and likely we didn't do) in the last 2,5 years when a local group started
to form here, so your questions will be very important to me.

Is someone here willing to join? If you want to discuss, please, add your
name in the document and questions will be highly appreciated!

Obviously those from privileged countries are also welcome, but I want
focus on this particular big challenge we have as the OKF central is
willing to improve its international status. N. b. this particular
challenge we can see in other international organizations as well, like
Wikimedia chapters, a case I've discussed a lot in previous years.

Greetings,

Tom
