[Open-education] R: introduction

Hi everybody,

I'd like to continue with introductions.

My name is Markus Deimann, I am working in the position of an assistant
professor at the FernUniversität in Hagen (the only public distance
teaching university in Germany; http://www.fernuni-hagen.de/english/).
Since 2007, I have been working in several OER-projects that were aimed
at disseminating OER on a global scale. Unfortunately, Germany is a
blind spot in OER, but things are (hopefully) about to change (e.g.
first OER conference in Berlin last weekend).

My research interest is on the philosophical and educational
implications of OER and MOOCs. I have just published a paper in IRRODL
that may give you an insight in my work:

If there is any interest on collaborating on critical inquiries on MOOCS
and OER (e.g. position papers, workshops etc), I would be more than
happy to support this task.
