It's interesting to see the range of prices:

DIY Kit - $1100
Atiz Bookdrive Mini - $8,700
Internet Archive - $10,000

for such similar mechanical designs, albeit in different materials and with
different amounts of assembly required -- then there's the Atiz Bookdrive
Pro at $16,711 which will take you up to A2-size.
