Looks like they actually plan to offer these for sale at $10K (includes 30K
pages of IA processing & storage).

Although that page points to the DIY Scanner Forum:

and references open source hardware, I can't find any plans for the actual
IA TT Scribe variant (which looks to be anodized aluminum rather than CNC
routered plywood like most of of the other designs in the forum).
