Dear all,

Today an interesting webinar is taking place, starting at 19.00 CET:

   - AAM’s TrendsWatch 2015: Using Open Data and Personalization at
Museums: thought leaders from the American Alliance of Museums’ Center for
the Future of Museums, Open Knowledge, and the Council on Libraries and
Information Resources (CLIR), USA and The National World War II Museum
(including OpenGLAM advisory board member Michael Edson) will dive deep
into two of the leading trends for museums in the TrendsWatch 2015 Report,
open data and personalization, and how museums are using these.

In addition, a new blog was published on our site today on the OpenGLAM
benchmark survey. This is an online survey conducted among heritage
institutions throughout the world to measure the state of advancement of
OpenGLAM in various countries and identify the main challenges and
obstacles that stand in the way of the promotion of open cultural data and
free access to knowledge. The first results have now been analyzed for
Finland, Poland, Switzerland and the Netherlands and show encouraging
trends for OpenGLAM:
