[open-government] Last chance to get sponsorship to come to INternational Anti-Corruption Conference

Hi Mara-

I had a wonderful conversation with Ian Anderson and Andrew Leeb from the University of North Carolina- they were talking about the recent Plone Conference in the Netherlands and were impressed at how Brazil uses the Plone platform from the federal down the municipal level- We started talking about Plone as a potential open data platform. Is this something that is already going on in Brazil? I know we have CKAN as an open source project and then a proprietary SaaS platform with Socrata.

I would be interested in hearing about any efforts being made to use Plone as an open data platform.

Best regards

Jason

Dear All,

This is your last chance - we are still looking for developers to come and attend at the Hackathon at the International Anti-Corruption conference in Brazil in November. Apply today and tomorrow and get a last minute chance to be sponsored (hotel and flight) to come and crack the awesome problems we received. Feel free to contact me in case you have questions. http://15iacc.org/get-involved/iacc-hackathon/bursaries/

Hope to see some of you there!

Mara
