Hi all,

Just a final post to warn you that tickets for OKFest are beginning to sell
out! If you haven't yet bought yours, get it here:
http://okfestival.org/early-bird-okfest-tickets/

We have an exciting series of sessions lined up for Open Science and Open
Access, and it would be great to see an equally strong representation of
scientists in the audience.

Highlights include:
** Mat Todd* from the University of Sydney talking about Open Source Drug
Discovery; *
* Carl-Christian Buhr *from the Cabinet of Neelie Kroes leading a workshop
on the Commission's new open access policy;
* Sessions on *Crowdsourcing Data*, *Communicating Science*, *Open Access
in Practice*, *Immediate Access to Raw Data from Experiments* and more,
with a great line up of speakers from the World Bank, Ushahidi, Wikimedia,
FigShare and beyond.

More details on the Science sessions:

And on the wider programme:

If you can't make the main event, there is also a **FREE** science hackday
in Helsinki on Tuesday 18th. Sign-up here:
http://okfestival.org/open-culture-and-science-hackday/

There are fewer than 100 tickets remaining, so please do share this with
friends, colleagues and around any mailing lists you may be part of. It
would be great to get some more scientists together in the final fortnight!

Kind regards,
Laura
