[open-science] [Open-access] How to Block Readcube and Why

if the first thing you see is a rotating Readcube cube in your browser
after clicking on "get PDF" then it's actually taking you into a Readcube /
HTML/ Javascript rendering of a PDF that looks similar to the real PDF.
This is NOT the a PDF file.

if your URL bar shows "epdf" at the end of the string you're in Readcube,
not the actual PDF file

Visually, if you see "red" PDF icons - they will direct you to Readcube

If you have JavaScript already disable, the page will render "grey" colour
PDF icons and the link will redirect you to proper, real PDF.
