Yesterday, the MyTrainJourney website (http://www.mytrainjourney.co.uk/)
was launched, which allows anyone to see how a particular passenger train
performed on any date up to a year in the past.

I'm very pleased to say that the JSON API behind this service, called the
Historical Service Performance API, is available too.

Details on using the API are at http://nrodwiki.rockshore.net/index.php/HSP,
and you will need an account on the National Rail Data Portal at
https://datafeeds.nationalrail.co.uk to use the API.
