Hi Ola - Unfortunately you've missed a Scottish Linked Data hackday
(http://scottishlinkeddatahackday2.eventbrite.com/) however you may be
interested in the Repository Fringe event
(http://www.repositoryfringe.org/) being held at the Informatics forum,
University of Edinburgh (3-5 August). The theme this year is along the
lines of connecting communities through open data, social innovation
etc. The delegate split is 50-50 developer & OA repository practitioner
and many of the developers are working or starting to engage with open
data. I'd guess that you'd find developers there to speak to. You could
always sign up and do a pecha kucha presentation yourself!
Drop me a line if your interested in any further information or register
for the event at: http://repofringe2011.eventbrite.com/
Best,

I want to do a case study on the governmental data repositories as I find both data interesting. My masters program is Digital Media and Culture, and I think the emerging use of governmental and organisational data in visualisations and applications are interesting topics to look into.

Have you made a visualisation, a desktop or mobile application or used open data in other interesting ways? I would very much like to speak with you. That would help me a lot.
