Hi Christian!

I *love* your enthusiasm and I only wish there are more people around
the world with your enthusiasm.

I hope you don't mind this message or that you won't go mad at me,
but... I must admit that I have big issues comprehending your texts...
At first, I could not tell from your CV what is exactly that you are
doing. "Alright..." I thought "this kind of intriguing obfuscations are
popular, recently, right?" but now I cannot understand clearly the
meanings of your suggestions for Mozfest here. So I decided to write
this message exactly because I am eager to know more about your ideas.

I am quite familiar and involved with the terminology you use. Hacking,
brainstorming, feedback, crowdsourcing, remix, mashup, etc... Great
terms! Each with it's own more-or-less well established meaning, I
believe. But... for example, I cannot tell how "hacking out" is supposed
to be performed if there is no prior material to hack it out from or how
such approach correlates or makes "a great way to crowdsourcing" in the
end. "Remix" and "mashup" processes are not interchangeable. The
"brainstorming" session you describe is maybe closer to a "survey" etc.
It appears to me that perhaps the way you are using the terminology in
syntagms is just a bit too liberal. Consequently, I keep failing making
out a logical construction from these sentences.

Articulation of information is essential in media where social cues are
low. Information must be articulated clearly to be understood. Only
understood information has the opportunity to make a difference in our
thinking and subsequently be useful to all of us, across the fields and
disciplines, and remain useful even after the buzzword trends subside.

In short, please go easy on us old ESL fa*ts here. ;)

Keep up the good spirit and I hope that this tiny complaint will not
deter you a bit in your thinking. This message is in no way meant
antagonistically. In a way, this is my call for reduction of buzzwords
in all of our writing. (That we, the designers, too often fall victims to)
Afterall, perhaps this is just me and my un-enviable "intelligence"
complaining :)
Looking forward to your future contributions,

Peace!
:)
