[Open Design + Hardware] Open Network Infrastructure / MakeZurich

Hello all,

A few months ago, a group of activists founded the Open Networking
Infrastructure Association <https://opennetworkinfrastructure.org/> here in
Switzerland, which our local Open Knowledge chapter has joined as founding
member.

I consider the ability to run sensors on open hardware and networks to be a
natural next step in owning and opening our data, and believe that the
group really stands for a better balanced future for the Internet of Things.

We are running a first event next week <http://makezurich.ch/> together
with the City of Zurich, local makerspaces and companies that support open
hardware. I would be keen to see interaction and participation with this
group, happy to field any questions or suggestions.
