I've been able to replicate. The connection refused message is because
of Solr.

When you run the tests you need to have solr running as well (you don't
need celeryd or the serve running). It's just that the tests can't start
up a solr instance.

If you do that, then you won't see all of those error messages :)

We should probably add something about this into the docs.
