Subject: Problem with data upload

Hello together,

I uploaded a dataset in OpenSpending for a report by me to be published on
the German website Krautreporter, and I have got some problems. Could you
please help me?

My first question is: What is the meaning of „Error – list index out of
range“? Does it mean that the dataset I uploaded has too many columns? What
is the maximum number of columns?

After reducing the number of columns, I did not get the error anymore. But
then I encountered problems with the dimension: There is a time dimension
in the original dataset in the format DD.MM.YYYY. In the backend I saw that
this is not an allowed time format. So I changed the time format in my
original dataset to YY.MM.DD and uploaded again, but the error came up
again.

Before, once, all dimensions were gone, although I had clicked on “Save
Dimensions”, and I could not choose a “Column”. Is it necessary to choose a
column?

I already sent an email to openspending-dev at lists.okfn.org on 26 January
but haven't received a reply so far.
