[OpenSpending] Community Call: Spending Standard Thursday 1900 CEST 1300 EST

Hi folks, 

The discussion on whether we need a standard for Spending data has now been bubbling under the surface for a while. We had a great session at OKFestival with some of the IATI team and would really like to keep the momentum rolling. 

Friedrich from the OpenSpending team has recently put out a straw-man for discussion: http://openspending.org/resources/standard/index.html - so we're very keen to hear your thoughts. 

Rather than a long email thread, we felt it was time to re-kindle the community call, so next week on Thursday, 11th October at 1300 EDT [0 - other timezones] we'll try and bring people together to discuss this.
