I would add to Juan Carlos list, George Minne who is a great Belgian
sculptor (close to Rodin), who also died in 1941. consider doing a
Public Domain day in Belgium, maybe around his work and in collaboration
with an art museum. I will tell you more about it.
The remark about Tagore is really interesting as it shows that the
public domain is not what we think it is in our countries....
