Hey,

a bit about the background - we - Open Knowledge - are thinking for a time
about the Campaign to Open up Contract Data. I started to participate in
the campaign only a few days ago, but I will try to tell a bit about the
experience:

Our first approach was to join a coalition of organizations
<http://stopsecretcontracts.org/campaign-partners/>that are interested in
fight for open contracts ... Organizations have committed to being partners
of the campaigns. But we have not so far defined clear options for
engagement.

On a institutional level: what types of engagement should we offer/provide
for organizations that are supporting the campaign?

When we built the campaign, we encountered the difficulty that contracts
are normally closely related to a country background, reflect its
legislation, etc.
So when we talked about this with a number of people we came up with the
idea, that there should be localized campaigns and local campaign leaders
...

So now we have the challenge to find local campaign leaders ... :) How
would you do this? Do you know people that are interested/passionate about
Open Contracts?

Which support do you think we can offer campaign leaders? - Yesterday
Kersti from OKFN Netherlands suggested that there should be a toolkit for
local campaign leaders. What do you think about this? What would you put in
this toolkit?

So many questions!

Have a good day!

Daniela
