There are a lot of 'thin-client' alternatives in the same prize segment,
numerous build around the various Via Mini/nano-itx boards. The use of
thin-clients is tempting but can also be complicated with the relying on
a central server - there is the question about low power consumption,
but the current prizes of standard PC hardware (and it's added
flexibility) makes it worth to think twice.

Just an added comment --> Asus comes with the Eee 701 laptop series
which is prized from 199 US in August/September (and later the 1001
model). This model has VGA output, ethernet, USB, Wireless etc...
