We would like to invite you to the 3rd Annual ReCon Conference - *Research
in the 21st Century: Data, Analytics and Impact *on Friday, 19th June in
Edinburgh. In addition, we will be running a free hackday on research
communication on 20th June. Please pass on this invitation to any
colleagues who might be interested.

Title: Research in the 21st Century: Data, Analytics and Impact

This conference focusses on changes and developments in *research
communication* in academia and how this affects *research careers*. Talks
will include dealing with vast volumes of data, publishing and the use of
metrics. A number of factors are influencing the way we communicate
research in 2015 including new technologies, the assessment of research
impact and pressures on researchers. ReCon will include speakers from
government agencies, academics, publishers, people working in outreach and
founders of startups working in the research space.

This is the third time that we have run this highly successful conference
that is unique to Scotland, last year we attracted 150 delegates and
several hundred more online.
