[OKCon-Programme] Your OKCon 2011 Submission

Dear Niels

I found the full paper that explains the proposed presentation in more
detail.

http://www.oakdenehollins.co.uk/pdf/The_Reinvention_of_Forgotten_Technologies.pdf

Having some background in technology management I think it's a very
interesting topic. It would be very helpful to know in more detail what
angle you wish to pursue. It seems to me that there are two possible main
lines of continuity from the paper above, but it is not clear where the
presentation will go:

- application within the closed framework of a company of semantic
technologies and data mining to systematise rediscovery (possibly as part of
a comprehensive innovation management system). This would lead to a
technology presentation.

- making knowledge more widely available following open data models for
joint/external innovation and/or societal benefit. This would be less about
technology than about IPR and business models.

best regards, Javier Ruiz

I wasn't able to edit it after I sent it in I believe, so any chances I get to clarify things to you or other committee members would be great.
