[okfn-help] help with wordpress simile timeline plugin

Hi there,

I found this great looking plugin for the public domain review website
- http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-simile-timeline/installation/

I installed it and activated for the PDR, but I can't get it to work properly.

the timeline shows here - http://publicdomainreview.org/timeline/
but with no data in it!

this xml file is where the timeline should be pulling its data from -
http://publicdomainreview.org/wp-content/plugins/wp-simile-timeline/data/timeline.xml.php
but as you can see there is nothing there!!

i appear to have set up everything correctly in the option settings,
i.e. specified the categories where it should be pulling posts from.

i have had a little look in the help bit for the plugin which exists
here http://groups.google.com/group/wp-simile-timeline

i found this thread

which implies it might be something to do with the permissions...

can anyone shed any light on this??? it would be amazing to get the
plugin working!
