[Okfn-pk] Public Bodies in Pakistan - Online Platform

Dear Sher Afgun,

In pursuance of our earlier discussion on the comprehensive list of all
public bodies in Pakistan, here are the functionalities which an online
platform should provide:-

1. The default columns which will be displayed to the users will be:-
a) Name of Public Body
b) Address
c) Contact Nos.
d) Website

2. There should be a (+) button at the end of each row and if a user clicks
on that button then the remaining columns of the data except columns
mentioned at Sr. No. 1 (above) will be displayed in rows form. You can view
example here: http://www.datatables.net/examples/api/row_details.html

3. There should be a search bar at the top which should provide different
search options beside the bar in the form of drop down menu e.g. Search
Public Body by Name, Search all public bodies in Lahore, Search public
bodies by type i.e School etc. In short the search should also enable user
to search within any column and restrict search results to that column only.

4. There should be 7 main categories:-
i) Federal Government of Pakistan
ii) Government of Punjab
iii) Government of Sindh
iv) Government of KPK
v) Gorvernment of Balochistan
vi) Government of Gilgit Baltistan
viii) Constitutional Bodies (e.g. Supreme Court, Election Commission etc)

5. Users will also be able to search within any specific category
(mentioned above) or in all categories e.g. users should be able to search
for "school" in Government of KPK or whole Pakistan.

6. We will make the source code of our platform available on github and all
the data will be open licensed under the Public Domain Dedication & Licence.

We will provide / host all data on a dedicated domain name enabling
citizens to find it easily.
