it can be an excellent idea/project.
I checked the data at publicbodies.org/ - for UK, US and EU - it is very
incomplete.
Just names of the bodies and websites. Addresses and many other attributes
are missing.

Anyways we can start for PK. And I think a Wiki style is much better than
previously discussed options - because in this way - the updation of data
is possible in a much better way. I had created a wiki for a project
http://certificationsdirectory.com/ and no matter how limited the scope is
- it is much convenient to keep it updated and collaborate with a team. But
still it is a suggestion.
