Dear all,

I'm pleased to inform you that the August 2017 issue of SocietyByte, the online magazine of the BFH Center for Digital Society, focuses on the transformations that can be observed in the heritage sector in connection with the progressive digitization of society.

I think that would be a good occasion to talk about our / your work in the area of OpenGLAM and reach an interested audience in Switzerland and beyond.

The call text can be found here: https://www.societybyte.swiss/2017/03/10/cfp-openglam/

The deadline for abstracts is 15 May 2017; articles may be submitted in English, French or German.

The August issue will be published right in time for this year's Swiss Open Cultural Data Hackathon<http://make.opendata.ch/wiki/event:2017-09> mid-September and if you submit early also for Wikimania!

It would be great to read about your latest advances in the area of OpenGLAM. If you have any questions, please let me know!

In any case I'm looking forward to (re-)connecting with many of you this year in Venice, Montreal, or Lausanne!

Kind regards,
Beat Estermann
