Hi all,

I doubt any of us have missed it, but Saturday April 22 many of us
will march for science. Why? Because we think science is important for
a fair, open society based on facts, not of emotion alone. Science
(natural sciences, humanities, etc, etc, all of it) brought us many
good. Many things that align very closely with why many of us to Open
Science.

That, btw, you can tweet with the hashtag #Thanks2Science which many
did this weekend already, when that campaign kicked off.

There will be close to 500 marches around the world, with two in The
Netherlands:

Amsterdam: https://www.facebook.com/ScienceMarchNL/
Maastricht: https://www.facebook.com/ScienceMarchMaastricht/

I will join the latter, and I hope to see you there in person, or via
social media in Amsterdam!

Egon
