Yesterday, the Biodiversity Data Journal (http://biodiversitydatajournal.com/)  has been launched. The next open access journal by Pensoft, but this time with many advanced features on what and how to publish scientific data and again based on Taxpub, a NLM/JATS based taxonomy domain specific enhanced DTD.

 

It also includes the automatic registration of new scientific names at the respective name servers.
